Grosvenor RC Learn to Row

Last week I visited Grosvenor RC in Chester to see how things are now that they have their new Explore Rowing boats. They got 18 beginners afloat whilst I was there two 8's and one double which was one of the new boats. The two ladies who went out in the double really enjoyed their hour long outing. With the new stable boat they felt really comfortable as they were coached from the safety launch. The beginners that I chatted to were really enjoying their course and wished they had learned to row years ago. Grosvenor have really embraced this project and are looking forward to setting up some challenges and fun racing next year.
