A Triathlon with a difference, inspired by City of York Rowing Club and York Canoe Club.
This challenge is one of many activities taking place across the country to mark the two year countdown to London 2012.
Commencing with a 3,000m cycle race using the course set up for the Cycling City Races, the competitors will then undertake a 4,600m run along the riverside and then complete the task with a 2,000m row on an ERGO (a static rowing machine). The first time this event has been held with a view to it building up to be a very significant event in the City in 2012.
