The Explore Rowing website is a great way to promote your club and help find activities for your club members. You can also find out how to get your club more involved in the Explore Rowing Programme.

Connect with rowers around the country
Our groups section helps you talk to other clubs around the country delivering different sorts of activity whether it's surf rowing, gig rowing, masters rowing or touring. You can post questions as a club and also point your club members towards these groups to encourage them to expand their horizons.
There's also a group for Explore Coordinators (those running Explore Rowing programmes in their clubs) where you can get tips and advice for how to get the programme working well.

Attract new members
Keep your club's page on the Explore Rowing site up to date so that people looking for a club in your area can get a good flavour for what your club is like. Each club page shows your club's location, photos, news & blogs, events and you can also upload attachments such as a club poster or membership form. To edit a club page you must be set as the club owner by the Explore Rowing Team - just drop us a line at explorerowing@britishrowing.org
Don't forget to link to our website too from your own website.

Promote your events...beforehand
Help get participants for your club events whether they are tours, challenges, learn to row courses or just social events. Add an event and it will appear in our calendar and also on your club page for people searching for a club. You can upload photos, documents and comments to help promote the event and other users will be able to post comments and questions for you.

Promote your activities...afterwards
Post news about what your club has been up to and it will appear on your club's page on here and also could be promoted to the front page if it has a good photo too. It's a great opportunity to promote the activities of your club so when people are searching for a club they can see you have plenty of activity.

Add activities
Make sure some routes and challenges near to your club are described on the website. Your members can take them on and anyone visiting your local water may choose to take them on. They may even prove popular enough for you to then set them up as an event. If you're part of the Boat Hire Network it can also help create an activity for people to do when hiring your boats.
