We welcome new members from serious athlete to novices (and offer accredited Learn to Row courses for complete beginners – contact Chris on 07970 950 704). Our facilities are good – 10km+ stretch of uninterrupted water, a boathouse recently refurbished to house a new gym/land training facility and our own caterer providing cooked breakfasts and evening meals. Senior successes include medals at World Championships, National Championships, 14th at Head of the River, semi-finals at Henley Royal Regatta and athletes selected for GB, English and Welsh national squads. Medals have also been won at World Masters, Masters Henley and more recently a finish position of 3rd at Veteran’s Head of the River race. We are a friendly and sociable club and are happy to accommodate training camps for visiting clubs.
