Come aboard this summer with Rowing. Select your team of eight people to compete on indoor rowers, or ‘ergs,’ arranged in Rowing’s gallery space and see how far your team can row in this 8-hour marathon relay event. The goal for the total distance rowed is equal to the typical ‘Thames meander,’ which starts at Halfpenny Bridge, Lechlade, and ends at Teddington Lock (approx. 125 miles). The team that rows the furthest will win a trophy and limited edition artwork. The proceeds raised by artists, athletes, and art world enthusiasts alike will go to the participating charity of your choice. This is a public event and the competition is open to all. Entry fee of £5 per rider applies (goes toward cost of breakfast, refreshments, and Rowing charity t-shirts designed by Wendy). Space is limited, RSVP for your place now. Please visit (http://www.justgiving.com/teams/rowingpresents) to donate now.
Alongside the event, Rowing plans to also work in collaboration with an artist to create a unique atmosphere at the gallery related to the event. Please also join us for a post-rowing drink at The Swimmer at The Grafton Arms (13 Eburne Road, N7 6AR). More details to be announced soon.

About the participating charities:
FIND YOUR FEET
Find Your Feet is a small and innovative charity that, instead of giving unsustainable handouts, provides training and support to build on the existing knowledge and skills of poor rural families living in India, Nepal, Malawi and Zimbabwe to help them find lasting solutions to their poverty.
THE NATIONAL LITERACY TRUST
The National Literacy Trust aims to create a society in which everyone has the reading, writing, speaking and listening skills that they need to fulfill their own and, ultimately, the nation’s potential.
THE STROKE ASSOCIATION
The Stroke Association is a registered national charity solely concerned with stroke. We aim to reduce strokes through research and health education and also help and support people and their families who have been affected by stroke through our Community Services.
Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 28%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Thank you for your support!
