An iconic route through the heart of Newcastle, under its iconic bridges and out to the mouth of the river at Tynemouth.
The route formed the basis for the Great Tyne Row in the 2011 Summer Series and is an event which is hoped will run again in 2012.

Please note the River Tyne is a busy commercial river and when this event was run as part of the 2011 Summer Series, a large amount of consultation was carried out with the Port of Tyne Authority.
