Day 1 Guildford RC to Pyrford Marina, starting at 10 a.m., finishing 4 p.m.
Day 2 Pyrford to Weybridge RC, starting at 10 a.m., finishing 12.30 p.m.
Pretty route, well worth the trip. The river is narrow in places but fortunately there was not much traffic, even on an August weekend. The locks are all manual except for the last one (Thames Lock) so it is helpful to have a land party to operate them. You can cycle the whole route along the towpath. The locks are also very narrow, so stable boats are essential as you need to draw the oars in.
We stopped for lunch on day 1 at the New Inn, Send, which has a good selection of food and tables inside or in the garden by the river. Easy mooring with low bank. There are several other pubs along the route, the best being the Anchor at Pyrford Lock.
